Cheryl Lassiter was a caterer in Houston for 15 years. She also owned Sweeties Café and sold gourmet brownies wholesale to many restaurants and delis.

She then owned and was the innkeeper of Country Place Bed and Breakfast in Salado, Texas for 6 years. During this time, she hosted more than 100 scrap booking retreats along with a variety of other retreats. She held many meetings, offering a variety of meal choices, at this 7 bedroom Inn on 6 acres. Her cookbook, Good Food from Country Place B & B, was a big seller and was reprinted several times. Cheryl also taught cooking classes at Central Market in Austin.

Word of mouth from guests about Cheryl’s cooking followed her when she moved to Flower Mound in Dec. ‘06. Tasteful Catering catered it’s first event, a Wedding Brunch for 140 guests, in March ‘07 and has since catered many other events.
